We had a fantastic stay, even though booking.com screwed up our reservation. Marius and team went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. We loved our little apartment and playing with the dogs :) The hotel is in a great location if you're looking to hike and relax in nature. The nearest town is about 35 mins by car.

Window curtains permit a bit too much light to pass through them. Insect net at balcony door would be very welcome

Exceeding our expectations, nothing that we could have asked for more

We have prolonged our stay after the first night as we simply loved our accommodation at Sidharta. Lovely, clean, big rooms, with amazing view from the terrace on the river side. All the amenities in the spa-like bathrooms. Tasty breakfast covering all tastes - from vegetarian to meat-eaters, And above and beyond: the personnel - discreet and helpful, always available with a smile.

This property was super luxurious. Everything was new and great attention paid to detail. The room was large, as was the bed which was new and firm. The bathroom was something to take photos of! We were on the top floor so had a skylight with a view of the mountains around us. Also a good sized balcony. There is a small river running through the property so we heard it babbling all day long. The staff was excellent, friendly and efficient. The food at the restaurant was also excellent, as was the breakfast which was included in the room booking.

This place is amazing: just by the river, surrounded by trees, but yet a modern building with everything that one needs: spacious room, comfortable bed, big bathroom and balcony, nice shower, hot water - couldn't have asked for more. They even have mosquito nets on the window, so you can leave the window open and hear the birds and the river, without worrying for insects. Start gazing is an absolute must if you get here The food is great, I recommend trying their jam at breakfast, made by themselves. For dinner we had beans soup (ciorba de fasole) and papanasi for desert and they are a must try for sure. The staff were very nice and helpful, thank you and keep up the good work! We had a great time and for sure will be back. Btw, if somebody would maybe be doubtful to choose this place because of the road, we had the nice surprise to see that the road has been completely re-made and it is flawless from Petrosani to Brezoi

The location is great, very close to Transalpina ski resort ! The room we stayed in had a great view of the surroundings and the bed was comfortable.The food was tasty and the staff very helpful and accommodating.

I'd have to struggle to come up with anything I didn't like. As I said above, I stayed here twice in two weeks because I liked it so much the first time. It wasn't a fluke; it was just as nice the second time. We'll be back.

This is a beautiful place and all of the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and a great value for the cost. I've stayed here twice; I liked it so much the first time I came back two weeks later with my partner; she loved it, too. The bathrooms in the two rooms I stayed in were among the nicest hotel bathrooms I've ever seen.

All was perfect.

Everything was perfect! The hotel is super nicely decorated, kitchen is great, the staff is awesome. The food is amazing and even though it takes a bit longer to be prepared, it’s totally worth it. If you order please be patient, they make everything fresh, but its super delicious.
