Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesHorrible parking. Room cleanliness needs training. Very superficial. Staff has to be trained to clean in a way typical for such a hotel. While reception performed good and the restaurant the same, rest needs to be inspected by Management. Cannot give a 5 star to this place.
Luxurious hotel.

RomaniaThe daily performances, especially those in the evening for adults, left the feeling of routine, repetition and superficiality. Also, the space for swimming and other water activities has been considerably reduced.
The breakfast and location were good.

GermanyThe beach area is dirty and bad administrated. The solar umbrella destroyed, old and too crowded. it looks like 3 star hotel. My sunrise view was over restaurant’s garbage and dogs. The parking needs to facilitate better entries to avoid jumping the side walks. Overall is a 4 star hotel not a 5 star!
The rooms were clean and nice.

RomaniaAcctualy provide room with Partial sea view and opened balcony as selected and paid Heat the pool/ repair broken stair in the indoor pool where the water was shallow Have parkign spots for people with disabilities.
Pros: We booked Junior Suite with partial sea view - the room was large and had a couch, the bed very confortable and besides the normal light had also blue LED that was very nice in the evening. We had a kettle in our room and there was free natural and sparkling water and also coffee all day. Breakfast and dinner was included and was very good, but the same every day. The hotel has a private beach with free beds and towels. Cons: The air conditioning was making a strange sound during the night even when off. Parking was small and spots were very difficult to find. All pools at the resort had VERY COLD water and this was not that great for kids. There was no sea view even if we paid for it - the balcony was fully closed, above the restarurant. The experience was wonderful!

RomaniaThe staff seemed alwyas bothered when I asked them something... no one was wearing a mask in this hotel, not even in closed spaces, despite all signs mentioning mandatory mask wearing on the premises. No one at the reception, no one in the restaurant at breakfast, not even the restaurant staff bringing the food (it was a buffet breakfast). I didn't like that for a 5* hotel we served breakfast at the neighboring hotel, Phoenicia Resort, which was a 4* hotel and the food wasn't tasty at wall, nor the coffee or juices. The person at the reception told us at check-in that the hotel restaurant is closing (too bad that we visited the hotel at the end of the season, but I wonder why they still accept guests and don't lower prices, but still argue that it's the end of the season...) but the chef and the kitchen staff will still prepare breakfast for us, even if we serve the meal at the neighboring hotel. What a lie! We've stayed at the neighboring hotel for 4 nights before, always disappointed by the breakfast and we could notice that nothing was different. Crowded, very crowded, we jus felt at a cheap high-way hotel We especially disliked that fact the we saw a dead mouse in the children's pool. A lady overseeing the pool tried to call someone but a kid ended up getting the mouse out with one of his sand shovels. There was no public anouncement about it, luckily we werw there to witness it and I didn't allow my son to get in the pool after that incident. We never saw anyone taking samples from the pool water, so the whole thing was kind of hidden from the tourits' ears. And we're talking about children's pool here- Phoenicia Royal doesn't even have a children's pool, but we were able to use the facilities of the nearby Phoenicia Resort hotel, a 4* hotel, which has kids pools (of course, no heated water in the kids' pool...)
The location and the furniture inside the room and the Rituals toiletteries

RomaniaThe stay is great, the hotel has swimming pools for all ages and a wonderful pool with water games and a nearby beach, cleaning 24/7, everything is very clean, the room is very big until we added a bed for my second son and they had a small room with their own TV, all the furnishings are expensive and wonderful, and the food Wonderful variety, especially if you have children, they have a variety of options, daily parties, and everyone is cooperative, you do not need to go outside the complex, they also have shops for all sea games (in case you forgot to buy toys for your children), there is also a pharmacy, it was a great stay and for sure we will come once other

Romaniaa good 3 stars hotel undercover as a 5 star: 1.the building needs urgent care 2.staff if mostly formed from youngsters. Congrats for that, but you cannot leave them alone and expect guests to be happy. 3.Sauna did not work for 5 straight days 4.Fresh food, properly cooked but far from something special. The desert section is a joke. 5. Pool bar with only one 17 y old barman, same music, sometimes blasting, sometimes very low.
Great looking room. Sea view suite
