We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

RomaniaParking is a nightmare and only if you tip the security guard you'll get a spot, although the hotel has some own spots right in front of the entrance. Rooms are small and totally overpriced especially now that the beach itself had been excessively enlarged, so the "premium location" does not justify the prices anymore.
Theoretically location is great, steps away from the (beginning of the) beach. Friendly staff at the reception, nice pool with free access for the guests. The hotel is old, but had been nicely renovated.

Netherlands-suite bath mentioned in the booking turned out to be a small shower with cheap curtain. -booked a single bed double room, received a twin-bed room. -hot water is not hot, but luke warm. -shower head is stationary and water has no pressure, so to shower I had to lean on the wall. -upon arrival to the room, wanted to cancel my stay and get money back, but that was refused. Booking page stated cancellation is free at any time. Instead I was offered an upgrade to... single bed double room with bath tub, which was booked initially. Bathtub was useless because there was no hot water. -internet is slow and my own internet from phone didn't have signal, even though outside it worked fine. -swimming pool didn't even have water inside. - hotel yard looks way too outdated: many cracks in the floor, tiles removed and stacked on the side. Looks more like construction yard. -breakfast is not a buffet. I was just asked if I prefer fried or boiler eggs. Got a few pieces of baloony, some paprika, a bun, some spreads. Coffee mashine had "defect" stickers on half of the options. -room looks like was built during Ceaușescu prime age, outdated, bathroom has a lot of calc on it. -considering that it is a 4* hotel... shame on you. 4* hostel. Nothing to do here. Only book if your intention is to sleep and leave. Never book with full price, better take some 2* opțional in surroundings. 4* hotel should be an attraction by itself... but this place is boring soviet ghost building without any own entertainment. If you got stuck here, better spend your time in the city, there is a dolphinarium you can visit. Neighbouring hotel Zenyth has a spa with swimming pool, you can get there for some payment.
Good location, 5 minutes walking from the beach. Reception looks beautiful, but don't be fooled by it's look. Ask to see the room before you pay.

This hotel has beautiful vibe of 90's luxury and if you dig it - this is the place for you! Carpets in the corridors are so soft and thick, it feels like walking on moss. Really helpfull staff and tasty breakfast. I marked "room was quiet" in questionnaire, but we were off season and I know Mamaia is not quiet in the season.

SerbiaEverything: First of all, this hotel was maybe a 4 star hotel when it was built 40/50 years ago as not much has been updated or refreshed since. There was a constant smell of damp, the security and parking staff were extremely rude and the outdoor pool seemed dirty. The hotel also doesn't have its own beach front area. This hotel is at most a 2 star hotel - at the very most. It need to be closed down and completely overhauled at the very least. Of the hundreds if not thousands of hotels I've stayed in around the world, this is one of the absolute worst of them all and reminds me of the sort of experiences you used to read about Romania from 15+ years ago. Very nearly ruined our holiday.
The only good things about this hotel were the location and in general the front desk and cleaning staff were helpful, although they were flooded with complaints from other guests most of the time and in general seemed shell shocked.
