We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe front desk is not always staffed because they use a digital check-in system. However, the app was glitching on my phone, and I wasn't able to check in digitally. Therefore, I was limited in having to arrive within the window where someone would be there to help me.
Location was amazing! The room was very spacious, much bigger than the other places we stayed at during this trip. Everything was very comfortable.

RomaniaThe lighting in front of the mirror in the hallway and the bathroom was frankly terrible. There were no lights close and above or around the mirrors so you had to rely on down spots which means you're in shadow and cannot see yourself properly which is a shame because the mirrors are great. I also think it's pretty miserly to only put two teabags and one coffee 'sachet' in the drinks basket. The email containing check-in details made mention of checking in using an app but there was no link and we had to call reception because there was no one there to let us in or welcome us at 3.20pm despite check-in being 3pm. If this was a normal apartment rental that would be fine but this is supposed to be a "boutique hotel" there should always be someone there to welcome us. We also had to message to ask for the wifi password which should just be written somewhere in the room or sent via email prior to check-in. We also expect that there should be some sort of local area guide or hotel guide in the room or sent by email but there was not. Lastly only one of the TV channels was working and for the price - we know how cheap a TV package - is in Romania there is no reason why the rooms should not have typical cable TV packages with a few English language movie, news and kids channels for travellers and their kids. Lastly the design of the room was great but the storage was a bit weird lots of shelves had objects on them which made them unusable for clothes and for two people only one set of hangers is a little bit stingey also there appeared to be two massive blank doors where there could have been more storage but they were not cupboards.
I did the booking through booking.com and it was efficient. The room was well appointed very clean and a good size. The location was absolutely fabulous and depsite being on the front side of the building on the first floor there was very little noise from the street but if you're looking for silent you'll need to go somewhere else. The design of the room was very modern the bathroom was very spacious and had a super large shower cublicle.

RomaniaI couldn’t turn the heat on in the room so it was quite cold - I believe it only operates through a central heating system. The sky lights in the bathroom make it very dark, unflattering and insufficient because of it being such a tall room, would benefit from more lighting added to the bathroom.
Loved the cleanliness and minimalism of the room for the value. Although I forgot to get her name, the Ukrainian receptionist/maid was so kind and welcoming! I appreciated how helpful she was despite being in charge of so many tasks. I do hope she gets rewarded for her hard work!

Excellent location, close to ‘Brasov’ sign and Black Church. Accommodation was very clean and check in/check out process was effortless. Cleanliness was great and there was enough space, there was even a desk for people who might work.
