The only downside was the shower overfilled and flooded so only one of us got to have a shower but that wasn't such a big deal. Didn't affect the stay and would definitley return.

We liked practically everything. We couldn't really fault this place. In the picturesque woodland area, amongst bears and deers, in a cosy and welcoming retreat. We were greeted by the owner, which was very personal, and he was very lovely. Showed us to our rooms which hadn't happened yet, so that was lovely. Although I didn't speak fluent romanian, and my husband and family translated for me, I felt very welcome. The retreat and area was beautiful with waterfalls by the hotel, loads of outside seating and parking and a lovely resturant. We had breakfast and dinner there, and although I'm a vegetarian they catered to me so well. That was a lovely touch. And everyone said how amazing it was, the lady really cares about her job as a chef and you can tell. The rooms themselves were lovely, had a cottage feel to them with plenty of storage and wardrobes, a fridge and all you need for a cosy night in. Multamesc frumos

Very nice, remote location. Staff was polite and helpful. We got a larger/better room than the one booked, at no extra cost. Even if outside were -10° the location was well heated. The private 500m road to the location, was better than many sections of the main road Padina- Bolboci.

Location is perfect and gives you true exeprince of piecefull mountain stay. Room was clean and cozy, with newely renovated bathroom. Stuff is polite and they provide easy going atmosphere. Area of improvement could be - to provide some sort of written basic info in English for international guests.

The WiFi connection is pretty bad. People don't go there to work/be online, but it would be nice to catch up with emails at night/morning. Pillows could be better.

Great location, staff was excellent, good food. Its location offers easy access to the Pestera cable car. Beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. Breakfast and dinner were very good.

A quiet place into the green forest that gives you a relaxed and peaceful feeling. The chalet is designed as part of the nature, with a lot of wood and specific natural colours. The hosts are warm and always there to help you. It is situated close to the area attractions such as Ialomitei Cave, Bolboci Lake, Zanoagele and Cascada 7 Izvoare.

The family couch was not the comfiest to sleep on. It's also small, luckily I am short.

The location, the cozyness, the isolated placement within the area. Far from cars or noise.

The location is perfect, just in the heart of the forest. There is a small creek in the backyard of the property, safe and entertaining for children. There is a huge courtyard surrounded by a wooden fence where children can play and where you can sit, eat, play or do your yoga exercises. From the moment we arrived we were surrounded by the pine odor and the sound of birds and the creek. The hospitality of the employees//owners is great. They helped us with everything we needed (including some batteries for a drone). You can walk to the Pestera cave (20-30 min), Pestera Monastery(20-30 min), the cable car for Babele (40 min). there are several hiking trails which you can pick up.

The room was a bit small, but not a major inconvenience, and expected given the location/size of the property.

Very quiet location, in the middle of the forest. We checked in late, but there was a host ready to welcome us. Well equipped kitchen, big fridge and dining area. Some nice outdoor tables (weather permitting)

The shower construction allows for water to seep out and we had to clean it. If other guests are showering late in the night, you can hear a sharp noise of the water flowing through the pipes.

The hosts are very friendly. The secluded location is very close to the woods, but also close enough to the cave and cable cart.

The road was pretty bad until we got there, icy too.

Situated in a remote area in the forest, its great for those who seek privacy.
