The swimming pool and sauna/hammam area were not very clean and well-maintained.

We really appreciated the upgrade and the kindness of the staff. The corner room was amazing.

Great and helpful staff, excellent location, comfortable rooms, good buffet breakfast. It was wonderful being in the middle of everything and the staff pointed us to some excellent nearby restaurants.

The only thing I really did not like was the fact that our room service breakfast was cold, the bacon was so burned, the pancakes with no maple syrup or jam. I would not recommend getting room service, it’s a total waste of money. Also did not like that parking was payed and not cheap at all, so also keep that in mind.

The location ia beautiful, the rooms are very nice and comfy. The hotel refurb looks very nice.

Great experience! I celebrated here my daughter’s 14th birthday (which in our country is considered a big step in life). Everything from the hotel and its location, to Ioana’s outstanding front-office team, the wonderful people and food from Roberto’s restaurant, to the magical people from house keeping was simply marvelous. Will return for sure for my wedding anniversary. Keep up the wonderful work you do guys, you’re great!

I recently stayed at the InterContinental Hotel Athénée Palace in Bucharest for a wedding weekend with my boyfriend, and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully designed with a blend of classic elegance and modern touches. Our room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure our stay was pleasant. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was luxurious yet welcoming, making it a perfect choice for a special occasion. Parking closed for refurbishment

The location, very comfortable bed, new refurbishment, wonderful breakfast and mainly the lady from the breakfast which it was wonderful!

We were first given a different room and the toilet was not washed properly, with signs of remaining poo and urine. The reception staff swiftly changed the room and we had no issues thereon. The noise from the on-going works were unpleasant but this is over soon. The room doors are not super well isolated so we heard noises from clients on hallway.

The beds are very comfortable, very quiet and good air conditoning system, lovely refurbished bathrooms, great washing products. A hotel up to par with many European top hotels! Professional and kind staff.

Balcony doors were locked - I think you can request them to be opened, but when it's 40 degrees outside you probably wouldn't want to sit out there anyway. Some road noise from traffic, but nothing too bad.

One of the best (possibly the best) hotel in Romania. Historic, but modern. Air con almost silent & super efficient. Huge TV. Balcony with view of Palace & Athenaeum. Breakfast was as good as any I've had anywhere in the world - huge choice & high quality. Staff friendly and helpful.

A delightful hotel with extremely helpful reception and assistance staff, especially Daniel! And very helpful security staff. Breakfast was excellent and bar snacks in English bar also very good ( as were the staff)

Problems with the TVs continue. Can’t stand that crazy noise. Also, is weird that foreigners get a different treatment, regardless of us having the most expensive room in the hotel
