Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere was no milk in the rooms for the tea and coffee - there was a kettle and cups provided but no milk even though these was a fridge in the room. Breakfast was just OK - the eggs were a little cold.
Location was good and within walking distance to the centre, also plenty of parking in front of the hotel, breakfast was ok - was sufficient. Had lunch and this was good.

SerbiaThe SPA is not free, the parking lot is not free, they have a sifn for the guest about a free drink, but it is not for everyone (only for a 3+ night stay guests). The bathroom door is a cabinet door (like you have a curtain instead of a door). The location is nothinf special, behind a supermarket, 10 min walk from the city center.
The hotel and the rooms are modern.

SerbiaModern hotel with clean and well equipped rooms, nice design of the enterior. There is private parking in front of the hotel. The staff was friendly enough. The hotel is around 5 minutes of walking to central area of the city. All this is making it very good choice for a hotel if you visit Timasoara.

RomaniaMinor gripes: the AC/ Heating control in the room is quite complicated. Would have appreciated a manual for it. Also, cups for tea are really small. These "issues" would however not stop me from booking again
The hotel is modern and quite central. I really liked the lobby and restaurant area in terms of design and usability. The front desk was friendly and efficient. Breakfast offered a good variety of local and international items. As with pretty much any Ibis I stayed at, the bed was comfortable.

GermanyGenius members are supposed to get an „upgrade“ to a room with view. I had a panoramic view of the parking lot. Not sure if it was a mistake or if the „view“ is just a cheap way of getting a higher rate.
Newly built with new room design which is quite pleasing. Was surprised to find coffee capsule machine and slippers in an Ibis room. Easy walk to center.

Nice lounge area, very comfortable beds, good facilities, very good breakfast. Enough parking spaces within hotel premises. Very polite staff, ATM in the lounge, Good internet coverage. Great for families and business trips. We are coming back!
