The stairs to the mezzanie were a bit worrying with the banister coming away from the wall. Definitely not a good room for anyone with mobility issues.

Received room number by text after it didn't show on the online check in. This made arrival super easy - just find the room, take the key from the box and walk in. Lovely building with great atmosphere.

The AC in the room was not powerful enough to cool the room efficiently and we had to sleep with it running, since the beds were elevated (accessed via stairs). The other room we had booked had a good AC unit and was more able to cool the room efficiently.

The room with a lower and upper level was hot in the nights, particularly at the upper level. It was not possible to sleep with the air conditioning as it made loud noise. The mini-fridges did not work in both rooms that we had.

The hotel and the rooms were better than in the pictures. The rooms were very tidy. The location was very good, with a walking distance from the city center but very quiet. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff helpful.

Very small issues: We had an issue with the airconditioning that was leaking, unfortunately a bit annoying in th night. We informed the host and they will take care of it, but for one night there was not so many chance to fix it. The bathroom was clean but a little bit mouldy, I guess it's an overall problem in Romania, nothing big tho.

The apartment was neat and clean, easy reachable with bus from the airport and situated in a quiet street. The innercourt was beautiful and also neat. All the amenities we needed for one night and the airconditioning was very helpful since it was hot outside. Easy to find the keys and the host was super quick to communicate with

The AC was a horror. Placed in the lower part of the appartement it was only cooling this part and not the upper part with the beds. Beyond this it was too loud to run through the entire night. Finally we decided to use the fan function only.

Loved the fuss free experience. You collect the key by the door of your allocated room, and then come and go as you please. Conveniently located near city centre, room was clean, air con, plus you can smoke just outside your room. Cool place.

The receptionist saw my partner who walks in crutches and wanted to help us avoid the stairs to the bed (inside the booked room). So she directly allocated us a different room in the system, with the bed at same level as the rest of the room. We were too tired after a night train to insist at check-in we had booked or to ask where the new room was located, so we kept the room on the 2nd floor... Unfortunately the new room was on the 2nd floor at the very end of the floor, which meant more (spiral) stairs to climb, no elevator and much more to walk... All in all this was much more tiring for my partner in crutches for the duration of our stay (2 nights). but we will probably look for a room on ground or first floor the next time we stay here. Also it was tiring for me to lift a suitcase on the stairs between floors, but the receptionist was kind enough to offer to carry it for me, which I appreciated. The shower cabin is a bit high, climbing was a bit difficult. There was a strong mildew smell when we turned on the bathroom ventilator, so we gave up using the ventilator and aired the bathroom via its door and the room window instead.

Kind employees. The inn is charming, we liked the view in the inner courtyard too. Very clean, quiet and spacious room, comfortable mattress, desk big enough for even 2 people to work if needed. Tea, sugar and candy next to the tea/ coffee maker :) Only 5-10 minutes on foot from the nearest local bus stops. Not far from the train station.

In extreme heat it is difficult to keep cool the raised mezzanine sleeping area in the rooms on the top level. A fan is provided. People needing to make bathroom visits in the night should be aware that this requires going down wooden stairs from the sleeping area in some rooms.

Consider choosing a different hotel, if you arrive at Cluj on a hot summer night and you have kids. You will probably get one of the top-floor rooms, where the main bed is located in an upper loft, whose ceiling seems to have no insulation to separate it from a very hot roof. There is no direct AC at that level. The room's air conditioner (loud, because it is an in-room device with the compressor located next to a bed rather than being external and sound-insulated) mainly just cools the air at the lower level, because the hotter room air rises, leaving the cool air lower. The AC device is okay, but it can't offset the day's accumulated roof heat. Under other conditions, the room would be just fine.

This is a good interior-parking-lot motel, in terms of basic facilities, attractive courtyard, and a good breakfast. Also, it's conveniently located between the old-town and the train/bus stations, if just there for a night And we loved Cimbru, a restaurant nearby.

maybe the internet in our room 210 was a bit slow but it was good in the breakfast area and reception.

The staff members were very friendly, breakfast was really good. As for the room, it was quiet, super clean, spacious, had a fan and also an AC device that we did not need to turn on. Shower was amazing, pressure, heat etc. I would definitely repeat. Easy to get from the airport by public bus in the evening.
