rooms are outdated and the bed protector is plastic , it kinda feels uncomfortable when sleeping.

honestly the hotel looks like the shining movie and it looks outdated but the price is reasonable compared to other hotels around the area. if you need a hotel for a night and will be out the whole day i highly recommend this hotel.

Smell of smoking in the hotel and in the room The manager that was in the evening do not speak English. Was kind but did not know how to reset the key card that was not working, was not open the room. Each time we came back, went with us to open himself with master card.

Towels and bed linen rough. But clean.

We were delighted with this hotel. Budget price but it was spotlessly clean, super friendly and helpful staff, and perfect location. The only downside was the bed linen and towels were rough, but very clean so didn't matter. Breakfast was basic but entirely sufficient for q short stay and again the dining room spotlessly clean. The concierge couldn't do enough to help us. We were extremely happy. The hotel is nothing to look at from the outside but the art deco lifts were stunning, and beautifully polished as was the rest of the hotel. Well done cleaning staff. Thank you

We did not have the breakfast because there is not very much to eat. We chose to eat in the city. But it is ok, there are plenty of restaurants - the only incovenience they open at 10am. The single beds are quite small and it was quite hot in the room- the air conditioner was slow .

Walls were thin, I could hear someone from next door very clearly. Also, someone turned up knocking on the door in the middle of the night, which was very odd.

We only stayed for a day, but the staff was very friendly and helpful and rooms clean. Lovely Retro style hotel in good location. We could park at the front of the hotel, which was paid in certain hours via app.

The air con would not go below 18 degrees. The room and bathroom are very 1980s, so very dated, but this was not a problem. My bed sheets were not entirely clean as there were many bits of fluff/dirt on them.

The room was a good size. The reception staff were very helpful. The location is excellent. The cost is very reasonable for a hotel in the centre of town.

Room was excellent, clean, bed and pillows comfortable, no noise even facing the street, which was preferred for the view. Accommodating vegan breakfast, no reception at night but very welcomed by staff for check-in at late hours. Visited mid June, the scented, perfume of mid-peak flowering linden was mirific. Would recommend as excellent for location, central, the town is alive in the evenings, people walking and having a good time all along the biggest pedestrian area with shops and restaurants. There is even piano live music in Piata Libertatii.

No free parking. The parking near the hotel it’s public and you can only pay per hour because it is green area. If you stay longer, you will need to send 12 messages/day and this also makes it expensive. It’s better and cheaper to park further from the hotel, outside the green area, where you can pay per day. Restaurant should be renovated, otherwise it’s better to have breakfast outside the hotel, in a nicer place.

The hotel doesn’t have a private parking. The parking in the front belongs to the city and it’s part of the “ Green Zone Parking”, 4 ron/ hour.

Perfect hotel for 2 days stay. Best location, very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast.

Breakfast needs to start thirty minutes earlier to allow guests to breakfast before taking a bus to the station for the morning trains.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the last twenty years. It is perfesctly located in the city centre and whilst some things have been updated it still has the 1970's/1980's communist era furniture that give it a charm of its own. It still uses the breakfast ticket system
