A real blast from the past here - very dark reception with lots of old wooden fittings. Nothing changed in at least 30 years, but it has its charm. Everything works and its clean, just rather old. Private parking is a big plus and the staff are very helpful.

The shower cabin is not clean enough, there is mold on the tiles. The refrigerator and hair dryer were not working. The hotel has three stars, but on Booking it says it has four.

Nicholas the receptionist was very kind and helpful. The room was spacious. It was quiet in the hotel and you could have a nice rest. The bed was good and comfortable.

It says it has a mini bar, but the fridge was empty and not working Water in the toilet has a really bad smell and it is not drinkable, so if you want some water you have to get all the way down to reception desk and ask for a bottle. Heating wasn't working, there is no remote controler for it so you need extra sheet.

Nice location, private parking for free, late check-in and a very nice staff!

I would like to play some music in the lobby. I slept with open window and I heard the traffic noise, it was upset for me a little bit.

The hotel was build with a lot of taste and style. I like the lobby, floor and the room, it was clean and scented, there was large bed, tv with netflix and a plenty of channel.

No laundry service. There is a self service laundry shop at about 5 minutes walk away. The restaurant at night was closed so no onsite restaurant.

Nice hotel. Large clean room. Morning breakfast buffet nice and sufficient for all. From the hotel to city center easy to reach by car/walk/tram/bus. Hotel close to super market and 15 minute walk away from a big shopping center.

Not that close to the centre of the city, but Uber is really cheap so it wasnt a problem at all.

Rooms are really outdated and used, specially bathroom should be renewed. Beds are uncomfortable, because some kind of plastic is below sheets and also there is only one small blanket on two person bad. Also carpet on the floor doesn't look clean. But it's good for one night stay..

Staff (i think only one person is there for everything) was very friendly and breakfast was very good. Parking place is in front of the hotel (like public), but because it was full, they gave us protected parking for free in the hotel yard. Hotel has online check in/out which is very useful.

Old hotel, old furniture, not clean...

Sadly the overall room cleanness is poor. We were there for just one night and as we got into the room the heavy odours greeted us together with a couple of moths. The shower room is out dated, showing mould and limescale signs on the doors and seals. The towels are rough and not a good size- at a 4 stars hotel we have expected bathrobes and slippers- but here it wasnt the case. The carpet has seen better days and although we really appreciated the vintage style a deeper attention to details would make a significant difference. The breakfast option is very limited- only 3 hot option: scrambled eggs, sausages and bread fritatas, a few veggies and some cereals, muffins and croissants. The coffee machine was only working for 2 options espresso and lungo. Tbh the quantity was enough for us but the presentation made it feel auster and unfriendly. The breakfast room looked cold and uninviting.

We loved the hotel old style design on the lobby, staircase and restaurant but sadly, we think is not appreciated at its true value by other travellers. We were also very impressed with the check-in technology, facilitating hotel and room access via the online portal. The receptionist was very friendly and professional and the rooms are spacious enough with clean bedding and cosy mattresses. Location is great while transiting Romania and fortunately we found a parking space in the hotel parking lot- I suppose in busy periods this isnt always the case due to the small size.
