“The guesthouse is located about 1 km from the road, access is possible on a gravel road, I assume only when there is no rain or other precipitation that directly affects the possibility of maneuvering. It is located in a quiet place, right in the forest, so the network of mobile operators is not available either. In other words, an ideal place to detox from connectivity with the civilized world :)
Both on the terrace and in the rooms, wi-fi connection is available via password. The guesthouse also has a restaurant, so you will have the opportunity to have dinner or breakfast. Walking around in the evening is not recommended, as bears are often seen in the area. The guesthouse also has security - 3 cups of Carpathian breed, gentle with the people who want to pet and give them something to eat, although they don't seem to be hungry by any means, being quite corpulent.”

I had an unforgettable experience at Bârlogul din Vidraru, located right in the heart of the forest along the famous Transfagarasan road. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of dishes that left us more than satisfied. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure that every part of our stay was comfortable.
One of the highlights of the place is the nearby pontoon, where you can enjoy a relaxing boat ride, or try out kayaking and canoeing. For those who love nature, you can also take a peaceful walk along the river that runs next to the road near the pension, breathing in the fresh air of the forest.
I highly recommend Bârlogul din Vidraru to anyone looking for a serene escape in nature. I would definitely return!”
