“It is the perfect location for staying a few days in a quiet and rural area. Nevertheless, it's close to the highway that connects Dublin and Galway. The cottage has everything you could possibly wish for. There is enough privacy, but you can also easily get in touch with the owners who live next door.”
“Lovely clean room, very spacious. Small and simple kitchen area that was very well stocked with bread, butter, tea, milk, cereal and fruit. So handy to arrive and be able to make a cup of tea & not have to worry about bringing teabags etc
Location is great if you are cycling/walking the greenway. Quick enough cycle into Mullingar and some takeaways will deliver if you don't want to head into town for food.”
“Niamh & David were perfect hosts. The fridge was stocked with bacon & and eggs, which made a wonderful breakfast together with lovely fresh brown bread which was also provided. That was a lovely touch.
If you love cats and dogs, you will be in heaven here. Sky & Storm [the two dogs] were most welcome visitors.
It is off the beaten track, but that adds to the enjoyment.
Take the Moate road in Ballymore & turn right at the blue painted rock after about a kilometer.
We will definitely return to this wonderful home from home.”
