“super friendly staff accommodating us with a dinner table despite the restaurant was fully booked. Food was really good. Hotel room was small but value for price top. It's located in the middle of the little village next to the church.”
“We arrived a little late, but that wasn’t a problem. The hosts were very friendly and attentive. The bathroom was clean and the room and bed were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with coffee from Ecuador, toasted by the hostess. Dinner was with other guests and friends of the owners. Very cosy.”
“It is a small hotel on a small town. The staff are very nice, the facilities clean and warm. There is a sauna which can can be great after a hiking. For the breakfast there are not much variety, but it good quality and enough”
“The accommodation was located close to the Montreux train station, the room was large and comfortable. Claudine was very welcoming and a lovely host.”
“Like many others, we used this hotel as a stop while hiking along Via Alpina. Good location and reasonable price (keeping in mind that the whole area is extremely expensive even under Swiss standards). Nice views, very quiet area. We stayed off-season, and there were just few guests in the hotel, so no internal noises either.
Room was very basic but overall sufficient for one-two nights stay. We got a room with a bath, which was very helpful.
No-frills breakfast was absolutely sufficient.
The staff speaks only limited English, but their excellent German helped us to communicate. The restaurants in the village were all closed, but thanks to the advice we got from the staff, we found a restaurant exactly as we were looking for in the town nearby.
Overall, we have a positive feeling and will come back”
“Perfect location close to the lake, train station and centre of town, large room with new bathroom and great help regarding our reservation/arrival. Thank you!”
“I have already stayed several times in this B&B. All the rooms are spacious and have everything one needs! The host is always super friendly and I really appreciate the flexible checkin times when arriving late.”
