“Hotel room was in attic over looking Mattehorn mountain. Great views. Lovely welcome from Mattaus who helped with luggage. Bed comfortable. Bathroom facilities small due to being in attic. Had meal also in hotel on evening and food was excellent. Great location and fabulous hotel .Extremely clean.”

“The service was excellent, with a free shuttle to and from the train station. The staff were very friendly and gave us great tips for photographing the Matterhorn. We booked a room with a Matterhorn view, and it was cozy, clean, and comfortable—we had the best sleep of our trip! It’s a short walk to the center, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. Breakfast had a great variety too.”
“The staff at the Reception - Jenny was very welcoming, friendly and very nice. She helped us carry our luggages to the room as my husband injured his ankle during our trip. And when he was unable to unlocked the bathroom she dropped what she was doing and helped get him out of the door. Thank you.”

“It's an old hotel built and decorated in the 1970's, at first it's a shock but once you embrace the whole 70's vibe I think it's amazing, the location is perfect the views from the room were amazing and it's a short walk to the town center for everything you need, the breakfast was great and the staff were lovely”

“We had a pleasure of staying 2 nights at the Hotel Hermitage when doing the Walker's Haute route. It is a wonderful place enchanting in its antiquity. A small family-run hotel that preserves the vibes of old times. The building itself is more like a museum, and feels strangely alive and extremely friendly. Exqusite interiors and warm welcoming from the charming host lady added to our experience there.”
