  • Woodfield Accommodation Review Score: 9

“Lovely accommodation right in the centre of Chepstow and near the castle and riverside.”

  • “Gorgeous building with a good range of facilities. Pool was a decent size, and it was good to have a jacuzzi and steam room and sauna all available with poolside showers. The gym had plenty of machines and the changing rooms were spacious and well equipped. The relax room at the spa was lovely and I had a good massage & pedicure. There was plenty of parking. There was a mini-fridge in the room which was very useful. I ate in the restaurant and had room service, and the food was delicious. They pay attention to sustainability which I liked (the bin had sections for recycling and other rubbish, and the room service food came in recycled packaging). Bed was incredibly comfortable. Generally a calm and peaceful environment. Shower was decent and there was plenty of storage in the room.”

“Clean rooms . Very close to habourside.”

  • “Evening meal and breakfast the following day in the restaurant was plentiful and hot. A lot of variety and options to choose from the menus. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The family room size was good. Main king-size bed was comfortable and child reported the double sofa bed was ok too. Two TVs in room, one per bed on either side of the dividing wall. No noise heard from other guests or the bar at night. Room located on the top floor, so no-one above us.”
