“A beautiful property with a wonderful garden on the edge of the village. Charming hosts who were so warm and welcoming. Comfortable room. Car parking on property. Included breakfast was to my liking. Knowledge shared about the area was very much appreciated.”
“We had the ground floor room at the back, and felt very lucky - the room was huge, with a very comfortable bed, and we had our own private terrace. Breakfast was excellent, and the owner told us we could make tea etc in the kitchen at other times. The location is great, in the centre of Amboise on a quiet street.”

“Domaine du Val Sauvage is a pure retreat. The setting is stunning, with lots of wildlife within the grounds and woodlands and many herbs and plants to awaken your senses as you walk up to the room. Caroline is a fantastic host, warm, friendly and attentive. The property is conveniently only a short drive from a very pretty town for lunch or dinners.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Chateau de la Huberdière.
Patrick and Lodovica were wonderful hosts, giving us excellent recommendations for visits and restaurants in the area, and booked for us a private visit of a winemaker of the region (in English).
The beds are very comfy, the rooms spacious, clean & tastefully decorated and the breakfast all homemade which was lovely.
The place is 10min away from Amboise and is a good base to visit the castles of the region.
We were really made to feel at home here and we will definitely come back!”
“This property is faultless, Fabrice and Thierry are wonderful hosts. The room was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best I've had. Thierry's french toast is something else. We ate dinner at Maison Leonard every night because the food was so good, and great value. We wanted a relaxing few days and that is exactly what we got. We had to leave early to get to our channel crossing on the final day so as well as early coffee and toast, Thierry provided us with a box of croissants and pain au chocolate to keep us going. Thank you so much.”
