“Exactly in the center of Tarragona. Quit place, even so it is in the center and near to a big noisy square. Practical for just sleeping and going during day to make some activities.”
“There's so much to list here as it was one of the best lodging experiences I have had in travels throughout the EU, USA, AU, and NZ. What really sets it apart is the personal service you receive. Excellent communication from the moment of booking and it really feels like they are happy to have you as a guest. Even moreso, they (and everyone I encountered in Priorat) seem so open and welcoming and eager to share their corner of the world with you. Sure, I have stayed in "fancier" hotels or properties, but this stay had a very special intangible feeling of comfort.
The included breakfast is a very short walk away 5 mins max at a VERY slow pace, and was outstanding. Made to order with options that you would expect in rural Spain. I didn't even remember that breakfast was included so it was certainly a very pleasant surprise.
There is definitely wifi here as I was given the password and there was a wifi mesh router located in my room. I didn't use it though because my mobile (voda ES) worked perfectly fine there.
Please be aware that if you are mobility challenged, there are cobblestone streets here with moderate grades as well as stairs to get to even the lowest floor accommodation.”
“I booked a room, paid and then after had to leave because of a double booking on .com.
There where no excuse or nothing from the Hostel. Just leave, quick. Really bad experience.”
“Perfect location. Just a mile all away from the coast.
A few nice restaurants a few yards away from the accommodation.
Very comfortable beds , a kettle and iron and ironing board on request.”
“The house was a beautiful traditional large town house with a quirky edge. Everything was spotless and well laid out. Carmen is a superb hostess and made us feel at home and really welcome. She prepared an exciting breakfast of fresh organic ingredients, really worth the experience. Carmen is an extremely interesting host with long roots from this historic region.”
“The room is okay and clean. If you pay +-60 euros a night I think it will be all right value for money. (We stayed here during festivities in Tarragona and paid 110 euro (10 euro extra for 2 dogs)). If you come by car, I hope it is a small car, because the road towards the hotel is very narrow. Staff is doing their work, not particularly super friendly or welcoming, but it is okay.”
“I was very pleased with the genuine helpfulness of the staff. All those I met were very pleasant. The facilities were very good for the price of the hostal, with its lounge area and shared refrigerator helping to keep my spending down.
They answered the phone and personal queries immediately and proactively offered advice.
I know the variety of hotels in Salou is extensive, but I would not hesitate to return to this Hostal.
It was true to the advertisement.
Very close to the beach and to nightlife, without disturbance of outside noise.
A great break, thank you Hostal Tahiti RS”
