“We enjoyed having our own place (little mobile home) with a frig, our own bathroom/shower, and falling asleep to the sound of the river close by. We loved getting warm bread in the morning from the little store there.”
“The property is stunning. The dining rooms date from 1400s with beautiful panelling. The food is pricey in Switzerland but we indulged and had an exquisitely cooked meal. I would recommend dining there if you can. Rooms spotless. Really helpful staff.”
“It was very clean. Rooms were cosy and good. Kids loved to sleep in bunk bed. It is right behind engerlberg train station just 1 min walk. There is a good play area for small kid she played there most of the time. Washrooms were very clean even the common one outside the reception were clean”
“Comfortable and convenient for Interlaken West station, which is not the main station, but on check-in a guest card is provided that gives free travel on local buses and between the two rail stations for the duration of your stay. There are a couple of good supermarkets and many restaurants within easy walking distance. The breakfast was simple but very good for pastries and coffee. There is also a common room and roof terrace with free coffee, tea, hot water available all day.”

The host was very welcoming and friendly the hotel provided all that’s important for a visit to Interlaken. “Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Particularly the young South African barman. Great to sit around the bar and talk to other tourists. Downstairs, lots of old world charm. Close to bars and restaurants. Easy access to Lauterbrunnen by car, bus, or train. Washing machine and dryer. Kettle and microwave downstairs. Great view from our window. Plenty of parking.”
“We had a comfort room, there was a fridge and electric kettle (no tea or coffee), there were enough outlets. The room was spacious, and modern, with kitchen-like area (there are counters and sink, but no cooking option). Sleeping was just fabulous - medium firm mattress, very soft and large blankets. The view is of course fantastic. Personal was very friendly and helpful.
