“We (family of 4) visited Rethymno during June for 3 days. Our plan was not to use a car at all and enjoy this beautiful Cretan city.
The location was more than convenient as we were only 3 min walk away from the beach and 10-15 mins from the old town (must visit - not sure if I can suggest to stay there though).
The apartment was very spacious, fully renovated and had everything we could ask for. 3 A/C, elegant bathroom, 2nd bedroom with bunkbed for our children, a spacious living room and a huge -fully equipped- kitchen.
Our host, Panos was very kind, helpful and always easy to reach if you needed something.
Extra tip:
There are hundreds of options where to eat/drink at Rethymno and as Greeks we can say for sure that prices have gone sky-high the last 3 years, so we always choose to support the ones that make the difference.
One of those cases is the ''Italian corner'', a restaurant 50 meters far from the apartment. Not to be missed!”

“From the welcome gift to the beautifully appointed suite, we were delighted with our stay at Marea. The location is superb; turn left for the old port and right to head into the Old Town. The room is well kitted out and all the amenities are of a high standard. Everything has been carefully thought through, with even a great little welcome pack on arrival. Highly recommended!”
“A perfect place with beautiful interiors and great architecture of the entire facility. Our host Marina is a wonderful person, warm and very nice, and I would like to meet such people every day on my journey!
The facility is clean, there is a swimming pool, plenty of space. Very good home furnishings.
Close to the restaurant, a little further to the store, but it doesn't matter. We had a fantastic time there!”

“The best place we’ve been to! Everything was amazing - the bed was super comfy, the bathroom spacious. It was super clean, beautifully decorated and the smallest details were thought through. The location is unbeatable - you’re right in the old city and even if you just stay inside to beat the heat, you’ll enjoy being in the heart of the city. Absolutely love it.I only wish we could’ve stayed more.”
