“The whole place was spotlessly clean. Excellent quality hairdryer in the room and iron . This hasn’t been the case with any other hotel in India. Janu the owner was incredibly helpful and friendly couldn’t do enough for us. Equally his brother who works there was so helpful. The delightful rooftop terrace and restaurant/ bar served amazing food with the most delightful hardworking staff it was a pleasure to be there . And as a bonus Janu has his own guide company called Janu Jaipur tours - before booking anyone else you should book him. You will not be disappointed!”
“A haven in the centre of Jaipur, Doongri House was calm, welcoming and spotlessly clean. It was the first time I had a reliable hot shower in over 2 weeks in India. The breakfast was tasty and quickly prepared. The room was large with ample space including a luxury of a dressing area space. It was also tastefully decorated. The pot filled terrace was sun filled and a beautiful place to come back to after a long day sightseeing. For the price, it was fantastic value for money.
I also highly recommend the nearby Swinton House for a treat meal - beautiful fusion food and cocktails for a very affordable price in a beautiful setting. Just a 6minute walk away.”
