  • “The host was very welcoming and made the check-in and check-out process smooth. There was a convenient water dispenser in the shared area, which was a nice touch for refilling water. The room doors were a bit noisy, so we had to be careful not to disturb others when going in and out. Thankfully, since most guests were pilgrims, everyone was considerate and went to bed early, so it wasn’t a big issue.”

    “It’s on the Camino route.”

  • Hotel Airiños 3* Review score: 9

“I enjoy the friendly staff and wonderful breakfast.”

  • Casa Puertas Review score: 10

“Doing Camino was worth it just for staying in this place. We got there late night all exhausted from the very long and tiring day of walk, but I don't know if it was the high from the day but we were blown away. I'd recommend taking the superior room. The price difference is not a lot, and it's absolutely worth it to get ocean views, a terrace, and the nicest bathroom with the sea view from the shower. You can see the owner put a lot of love in this place. Every detail is loved and done to the max. The sheets, the bed, the mattress, the pillows – all were more comfortable than many 5-star hotels I've stayed in. Especially the soft mattress with a memory foam topper felt like sleeping on clouds. The breakfast was incredible. There was nothing of lower quality or an attempt to save some money. Orange juice was freshly squeezed, filter coffee was better than what I've had in many specialty coffee roasteries, eggs made to order, jamón exquisite. The village/town itself is super charming and worth visiting on its own. This place wasn't even as one of the stops on my Camino guide. But with the pleasure of staying in Casa Puertas it ended up as the highlight of our trip!”

  • Hotel Compostela Vigo Review score: 10

“Lovely hotel with one of the nicest receptionists I can ever remember, a lady who couldn't do more to make us feel welcome. The location is perfect, adjacent to the old town, bars and restaurants, waterfront and the park. we had a good room with a lovely balcony and an excellent shower Some people have complained about breakfast in reviews but the breakfast is a typical breakfast for this region: cake or croissant or churros, plus yogurt or fruit, plus coffee and orange juice. All in all, perfect to start the day Vigo, by the way, is a super town if you've never been before”

  • Occidental Vigo Review score: 9

“Convenient location, just opposite the shopping centre/train station. Nice rooms. Had one of the back rooms which was quiet, but without a view.”

  • Casa D'Mina Review score: 9

“Lovely clean room. Host was very friendly. Camino is very close”

  • “Great hotel with a charming Marian museum inside. There's a small local minimart nearby for snacks, water, and wine, and a fantastic local bar just around the corner. The shower area was pleasant, with hot water, and the toilet was clean and well-ventilated.”

  • Albergue Agarimo Review score: 9

“It’s in the Camino route. Love that we are able to seat in the balcony and unwind”

  • Hesperia Vigo Review score: 6

“Check-in was fast, and the location is fine if you just need a place to sleep. The nearby café by the bus stop was a nice bonus. Overall, it’s okay for a short stay, but not ideal for those seeking comfort or quiet.”
