“I love the story of the owners who have lovingly restored this hotel and now welcome each guest in such a personable manner. The rooms have been beautifully and extravagantly restored. The continental breakfast is excellently presented and of high quality as well as modestly priced. In fact, the cost of staying at this hotel is very reasonable and about 40% less than comparable hotels in Las Rochelle. The hotel is in the absolute ideal position in Châtalaillon, less than 200m from the very centre of the beach and the best restaurants, and through a park to reach it, while being across the road (25m) from the train station, which links with La Rochelle in about 10 minutes.”
“We liked the suite and the restaurant. The location was great, walking distance to the centre of town just a word to say we came from the train station with suitcases and it is about a 20 mins walk up hill. Which is fine if you need the exercise after a long journey in the Eurostar and you are fit enough to pull your suitcase up the cobbled pavement.”
