  • Pirgos Mavromichali Review score: 10

“Excellent place to stay. It really is a place my partner and I consider to be the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. Many of the other guests we spoke to felt the same way. A highlight for us was eating breakfast overlooking the ocean and seeing the turtles swim past in the crystal clear water.”

  • “This so far has been one of my favourite places in our recent Greece trip. We had not been to Areopoli before and I loved this little village and our accommodation was so perfect. The location is great and visiting in June meant parking was fine but agree with other reviews in peak season I would suspect it would be difficult. The lovely staff were so friendly and we also got an upgrade to a suite so had private balconies which I loved. The stone features and timber roof in this hotel are so beautiful. The room was very clean and the staff also assisted me when I left a couple of clothing items in my room. Definitely recommend staying here we just loved it.”

  • Dioscouri Hotel Review score: 9

“The staff are wonderful. They helped us with whatever we needed, no matter how trivial it seemed such as ordering taxis when needed. They also assisted us in ordering pizza from a local restaurant. To be delivered to us in the lobby of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was filled with a variety of different items and you never felt rushed. In short a fantastic place to stay.”

  • Grand Sarai Nafplio Review score: 9

“We really loved our time in Nafplio. The hotel is perfectly located in old town so close to all restaurants and cafes but tucked away a little from noise. Loved the hospitality of the hotel employees. The room was spacious and had a lovely outlook over the town and church. Really pretty place. We love walking and the hotel is closely located to walking trails and historical landmarks.”

  • “The hotel is magnificent. A terrific secluded location. Our room was exceptionally spacious, the shower and bathroom too. Outside we had our own private pool. Almost 5* amenities. Other touches were less sophisticated - staff obliging but perhaps needing a little more guidance, training or perhaps a few more might’ve been better? But all were very nice people. Due to its location (there are no nearby tavernas) you have to eat the hotel breakfasts and dinners. Our small (one night) experience of dinner wasn’t great, and neither was breakfast. But this wouldn’t stop us from returning - so good is the location and the friendly staff.”

    “Close to town”

  • Diapori Suites Hotel Review score: 8

“Breakfast was nice on the terrace, lots of choices fresh fruit, continental buffet and bacon and eggs. Fresh coffee , tea . Self service. Would have preferred waiter service for tea and coffee. No tea pots or special service. Views are beautiful from terrace . Some staff helpful but no others not bothered especially young man behind reception desk. Rooms are okay ours was slightly smaller than expected. Beds are large and comfortable. Some road noise . Very minimalist rooms that’s lovely but we didn’t have space for our clothes as there is no drawers and limited wardrobe space.”
