“Catherine was a most friendly, kind, caring host. She was a very interesting lady and was happy to chat with us but also able to give us our privacy. Her house is very quiet and peaceful even though it is situated within two minutes of the centre of Arromanches. Breakfast was amazing, with a beautiful selection of food, including home made crepes.”

“Gorgeous, spacious and tastefully decorated room in a picturesque Normandy farmhouse. Very comfortable bed too.
The location is quiet and beautiful, with views across the fields to the lighthouse and beyond, as well as being within easy reach of Barfleur and an easy drive to anywhere in Cotentin and beyond.
Breakfast was delicious, varied and made by the delightful hosts.”

“The hosts were incredible- I arrived with an eye problem and by 8am the following morning, I had an appointment with an eye specialist in a neighbouring village, which Sophie accompanied us to. I can’t express how relieved I was to be in the hands of such kind and caring people who calmly took over the situation.
We returned to the most amazing breakfast with home cooked tarts and pastries served beautifully. Our room was situated with a private outlook over the field. It was peaceful and comfortable. We wished we could have stayed for another night.”

“It was in a lovely village, but also close to Ouistreham ferry. We had a lovely overnight stay and because we had an early ferry we couldn’t stay for breakfast, which looked like it was going to be as lovely as the accommodation.”
