“This is a gem! Antoine and Nicolas were extra friendly and. accommodating . Both speak English especially Nicolas so we got on extremely well with a mixture of the two languages Antoine cooked breakfast and evening meal. His choice made his ability as a qualified chef come through. Best of all they were interested in us as people not just customers. We are 78 but still active and always look for places like this to stay. It is excellent.”

“The rooms, the breakfast, the location, the piece and quiet.
Absolutely superb. Walkyrie is an excellent hostess and speaks good English. The house is a restored 15th Century fortified manor complete with 20" thick walls, arrow loops and defensive staircase.
The house is set well back from the village in lovely surroundings with a garden and Koi pond. A pair of peacocks roam the garden.
There are 2 rooms. They are massive, beautifully decorated, clean, exceptionally comfortable and well equipped. We had a kettle, complimentary beverages and a fridge with a freezer unit.
Breakfast is simple; eggs, fruit, home made cake, local cheese, jam and baguette.
WiFi works so that's a benefit...no TV, but then you wouldn't need it.”
