“Hotel Chagnot in Lille is perfectly located, a short stroll from the main/Eurostar railway station, and on the edge of the old town.
We had an excellent room on the third floor. Well laid out, and with a new bathroom. Really good shower. Breakfast is on the 7th floor, in a nice airy room - great range of foods available.

“Very nice new, spacious and clean room. We also liked the fact that they had a kettle with coffee and tea, and that we could refill our water bottles with filtered cold water every day. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and quiet area with a lot of free parking. Very near a tram station also. Another thing that we liked was the policy that if you skipped the cleaning of your room for a day, they treated you with a free drink (wine, beer, soft drink etc!) each day.”
“It's in a relatively secure location, so it's less of a worry concerning your vehicle. Its a well used hotel offered at a very reasonable price, if you can ignore the general grubbiness that comes from hard use, it's fine. My bathroom was spotlessly clean and everything worked. The bedding was clean, the room showed signs of wear.

“Very Central, right next to the cathedral, we had a lovely corner room with a great view. The hotel is delightful with an old world charm, beautifully appointed and decorated. The room was modest but very comfortable & very clean.”
