“Everything. Most enjoyed the afternoon sunsets & cocktails infinity pool. Our room was excellent. Loved being just above the old town - close enough to visit - and close enough to retreat to the hotel with an elevated view over the water!”
“Staff were very friendly and very easy to deal with. The breakfast was al-a-carte and was delicious, the bread basket provided was also nice. In room complimentary coffee was fantastic as well as the Bulgari amenities.”
“Excellent hotel to stay in Mykonos. Had everything we needed and the staff were the loveliest and most helpful. They knew we were on our honeymoon so they had a heart shaped cake ready in the room for us. Breakfast was good. They had a kettle in the room too. We had a stunning view from our balcony. The room was comfortable. The entire hotel was well kept and did not look dated.”
“The views were wonderful, very close to the small town. The bus to Mykonos Town is very close and only €2. The free sunbeds on the beach were great. Platis Gialis is an excellent place, everyone is so friendly. Great breakfast buffet.”
“The hotel has a real family spirit with constant warmth and welcomes. The staff were all amazing, so friendly and helpful. This was the stand-out feature of the hotel for us.
Rooms were bright, with modern furniture, well scented and clean. We had a classic double, with plenty of space and a little outside sitting area.
The bed was very comfortable and there was constant hot water for showers with lots of towels and bathroom amenities which were topped-up each day.
Attention to detail is exceptional and all hotel areas are well maintained, modern and spotless.
The poolside drinks service was great and cocktails were always excellent.
There is a beautiful portrait window view of Mykonos Bay from the restaurant space used for all meals. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice. We had dinner on one night and the food and service were exceptional!
The hotel has a really chilled, relaxed vibe and we were really sorry to leave, we wished we had booked for longer! We will definitely return.”
“We arrived early at the Olia after a weeks sailing and on arrival we were met by George who manages the hotel. George gave us a comprehensive introduction to the hotel and places to see and visit and the ways to get there. We dropped our bags at reception and sat by the pool and had a few drinks and had something to eat at the restaurant. The hotel overlooks the New port and sailing marina at Tourlos. There are enough sun loungers around the pool for people and gentle easy listening music playing in the background.
The hotel is quirky and all rooms have there own entrances and very clean and spacious with great air-con, most rooms from what I could tell could view the sea from them.
There is a bus stop right outside the Olia, which goes to and from the Airport that is on the way to the New port for 3 Euros. and the Sea Bus is 5 minutes walk that will take you to Mykonos town for 2 Euros or the Seajet and Ferry terminals to take you to a multiple of other islands.
Breakfast is a buffet and plenty of choice with hot bacon, sausages and eggs and meats, cheeses and fruits.”
