“Beautiful Chateau and amazing view, although the price quality ratio is inadeguate. The breakfast was very scarse with low variety of food and not high quality. Moreover, it should be checked the correct functioning of all the stuff provided by the room, before the customers arrived. But, in my opinion, what I really found unpleasant, was the different treatment reserved to different customers. There was a clear predilection for French customers. I “witnessed “ various check in and , during them, the stuff gave them all information about services/attraction/entertainment, in french for sure. On the other hand, with us there were very hurried and, for sure, none of the above information although they speak in english quite well. In general, we did not feel warmly received as we used to and we expect.”
“The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. Their restaurant, is high end dining with some truly amazing food. There are also some great restaurants around the area, if you get the opportunity go to the Monkey Bar which is situated right on the river.”
“A warm reception from Sylvain who kindly collected our luggage from the car parked down the street due to my husband's reduced mobility. We had a lovely spacious room and the hotel itself and grounds were charming.
It's the little touches, like the toiletries, mini bar, coffee machine and teas in the room that impressed. The choice of food and beverages at breakfast was second to none! Wish we could have stayed longer!”
“Excellent renovated hotel in fabulous setting right next to the river Loire. Friendly helpful staff, free parking next to the hotel. Room & bathroom (in the main building) were good. Getting into Angers needed car or bus but it was worth it for the setting.
