“The private rooms and pool area are looking amazing, the inside is really cozy and comfortable. It's small, but outside there's plenty of tables and sun beds to enjoy the day/relax/work. While it is true that during the day it becomes really hot inside, in the evening the surrounding nature make the area really fresh I actually slept without turning on the fan. Breakfast was tasting amazing, I asked for the same delicious banana pancakes every day. The staff is really friendly, I saw a review about them being all males and hanging out in the kitchen area almost all the time and I get that it could be intimidating at first, but as a female solo-traveler I felt really at ease and safe and enjoyed seeing a happy face all the time I went out. They even helped me organise my day trip to the waterfalls with someone driving me, as most tours in Lombok require minimum 2 people for booking, and booked my boat to Bali as well as transportation to the harbour. The room can be locked only from the outside, but someone is always there at night and the surrounding area is a quiet and safe village. The position, unfortunately, is a bit outside of Senggigi city centre (10 minutes) and you will need a motorbike to move freely, but I had no trouble with the Grab app. Just come with an open mind, as being in the middle of the nature means more insects and some leaves falling in the open bathroom or in the pool overnight, and enjoy the atmosphere!”
“Deano is great man and takes care of his donkeys well! Accommodation has all you will need from fresh water to drink and to swim in as well. Never had bed so comfy in my life. On top of that they helped with driver from airport, had scooter ready on place of stay and arranged private surf lesson for donkeys.”
