“Location was very close to train station and only a short walk to old town. Nice garden out the front to sit and rest after a long walk.”

  • Locanda Il Maestrale Review score: 9

“The hotel is located in the heart of Monterosso. Breakfast ,served at the beautiful veranda full of flowers, was very satisfactory though not very rich. But perfect for us. Giovanni, the owner, was kind and ready to give information and answer every question. The building is more than two hundred years old renovated recently and very attractive with a definitely family air in every detail. We had a lovely time!”

  • Hotel Residence Le Terrazze Review score: 9

“The quiet postion and stunning views across the bay made this space special. The public beach is just outside. The design of the appartments makes it look like a block of town house which means it blends in with the surroundings. The appartment is well equipped. It's an easy 20 minute walk into the main part of Porto Venere and there is a good restaurant about 10 minutes walk away”

  • CDH Hotel La Spezia Review score: 3

“Bed was soft as a sponge. Room was spartan, bare floor with no rug. Tiny towels in bathroom. Toilet jammed in next to shower, no room to sit down! Ancient elevator, you could wait 20 minutes to go up or down 7 floors. Air conditioning worked well, one good thing.”
