  • Relais I Due Roccoli Review score: 9

“The team at this hotel were by far the most attentive and helpful of any hotel we've stayed at. Very professional but relaxed and friendly too. Location is stunning, only thing to consider is there aren't really taxis available to get down to the town of Iseo so if you're planning on exploring then renting a car is probably best. We didn't have our own transport but were very happy to relax around the hotel. The breakfast room had views out over the lake and clouds that past by we're at our eye level, it was pretty special. The restaurant food is gorgeous, not the usual pizza / pasta types you see in most Italien places, very fresh and tasty with a nice mix to choose from, we especially loved all the fish dishes and tempura veg.”

    “beautiful view”

  • Camping Del Sole Village Review score: 6

“The mobile home and site were mostly clean. It is in a good location only a 10 minute walk to Iseo town centre and right on the lake. There is a shop on site with everything you can think although very overpriced compared to other local supermarkets. There are 3 restaurants on site, we tried 2 of them which were nice and offered a good range of dishes. The staff were very helpful on check in. The pools and park were good for children although the pool was very cold when we stayed (10th-14th Sept)”

  • “good value for money”

  • Ostello Trentapassi Review score: 10

“This place is absolutely GREAT! Dorm room is fantastic value for money. The food (pizza) made on site is great and also really good value. It is a bit "out of the way" from main roads, located several kms up hill from lake, but with a car, it is easy to drop down to the lake for swims. Fabulous hiking trails are accessible on foot directly from accommodation. The little town is lovely, with a really great local shop where one can get sandwiches and other items to take for lunch on hike. This place is great!!!”

  • “The most incredible views, and the kindest staff ever! Amazing and helpful service and truly made our stay exceptional. Thank you so much beautiful souls”

  • Hotel Rivalago Review score: 8

“We had a lovely, large suite with a huge terrace for our stay that was very comfortable and had wonderful views across the lake. We were on the 3rd and top floor with a lift so transporting luggage to our room was easy. On site parking was also a huge plus. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located to two ferry piers: one for the 10 min trip to Monte Isola (highly recommend to hire a bike and do the 1 hr / 9 km loop around the island) and the other for the 20 min trip to Iseo ( go for lunch. Unfortunately ferry times don’t suit having dinner there) There is the most glorious view from the heated pool and lovely grounds over the lake.”

  • Albergo Ristorante Aquila Review score: 9

“We have been to Lago d'Iseo a few times already, also in a hotel on Mont'Isola, but this was the best one we have stayed in to date. The Albergo Aquila is rated as a one star hotel and when we got our key to the room we thought "this is from the 70's" - one star is perhaps too much. On entering the room on a sunny afternoon, we were flabbergasted by the view of the lake from the balcony. We got a room on the second floor and had a most beautiful view of the lake over the trees in the hotel garden. The room/building is old, but we found the double bed very comfortable. Unusual for a one star hotel, we got clean towels every day and our bed was made every day. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean. We loved the tiled floor in the room. With the garden directly under the balcony, we had one of the quietest and most relaxing holidays in a very long time. Having a fridge in the room was a great help for keeping our drinks and dog-food cool. Regarding cleanliness and service, this one-star hotel was better than a couple of four-star hotels we have stayed in in the past.”
