“First of all, the entrance IS easy to find if you use google maps and street view. Yes, it’s not sign posted but it is a very clear driveway/landmark to aim for.
For ease and to protect any hire cars, you always want to approach the drive on your left hand side!
Now, the drive itself is as all other reviews mention, terrible. Drive slow and watch out for the holes.
Relais di Villa Rossi Danielli is a delightful B&B in lush grounds. We stayed in one of the suites and it was comfortable and beautifully decorated, we left wonderfully relaxed after our stay.
It is a B&B, so do bear that in mind; no bar, no honesty bar and no means to make tea or coffee during your stay or if you’re relaxing by the pool. It’s a shame and would benefit from such offerings, but it is what it is.
Booking via booking.com breakfast is NOT included and comes at €20 per person per day. We missed this fact when booking, our fault, and so were surprised by the extra cost when checking out. Would have been helpful if this was brought up, including the cost, at check in.
Breakfast was good, not €20pp good, but we enjoyed it nonetheless.”
“Very beautiful and comfy place. With the great vibe and the home atmosphere. The very hospitable hotel owners, Anna and her husband, made our rest awesome and unforgettable.
Especially I liked:
The general countryside atmosphere of this place.
Testy and homemade breakfast. That was made with the soul.
Medieval vibe the room arraignment”
“The location is stunning and the apartment was nice and spacious and well appointed with a great view. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. This is our second visit and despite the water issue, we'll definitely be back.”
“I enjoyed the nice view and found several superb restaurants down the road. However, my bed was uncomfortable, and while the staff were friendly, I felt that overall, my experience was just okay. The price was a bit high for the quality of the room.”
“Gorgeous resort located out in the countryside. The people working at the hotel were exceptionally kind to us. We had booked double rooms which were probably the smallest rooms we had anywhere in Italy, but were perfectly comfortable. The pool is gorgeous, and the staff were kind enough to lend us bikes that we could use to ride to a terme that had a lunchtime restaurant.”
