“This was my second visit here. The accommodation is a little dated and a bit basic, but is pleasant, clean, good value and in a convenient location.
We tried the evening meal one night, which was home cooked with local produce and very tasty, but needs to be reserved in advance.
Railway station is just across the road, with scenic lines to Montreux and Zweissimen. The fascinating castle at nearby Gruyeres is well worth a visit.”

“The location was great. We wanted to do a hike in Switzerland and hear the cowbells. The trail up Moleson starts at the hotel parking lot and had plenty of cows.
The common area / kitchen was suitable even for our large group (6 people). During a busier season when all of the rooms are booked it might be too busy though.”
