He picked us up from the pier on arrival and dropped us back to our pickup spot on departure. He helped us with renting bicycles and mopeds. “The bungalows are like glamping - modern comforts yet the feel of surrounded by abundant nature. And the shower has hot water too! Dareen Garden Home was truly a heartwarming stay; the first night we asked to eat at their restaurant (please try the curries, the lady makes the curry pastes from scratch and it shows in the end result!!!). The owners were not there anymore and hlthe restaurant was closed but upon asking they drove to the property swiftly and came to open the placejust for us, put on nice music and cooked us wonderful meals. A true VIP experience!
Note: during breakfast please don't be afraid to speak up or ask for things, they will adjust your meal according to your preferences. There's cats around and some of them are incredibly cuddle, so if you're an animal lover you'll love it here! Also, if you book bungalows there is wildlife surrounding you so please understand that. If you don't like the nature and some odd geckos etc accompanying you at times inside then I suggest you book the aircon house option they have. Scooter rental is 200baht per day and they provide good prices on transport to many places like Krabi Airport or any nearby island, Koh Phi Phi/Phuket etc etc.. We asked them for transportation off their official list and they provided it! Amazing service throughout our stay❤️
Also, the pool was in nice condition throughout our stay (picture for reference) so I don't know why some reviewers have pointed out a dirty pool..”

It's a little bit out of the centre so more relaxed and there's lots of good local restaurants and cafes nearby. I made a slow meander into town each day so no problem if you don't drive a scooter.”
