“Location is beautiful up amongst the hills with the low lying cloud. The travel from the motorway to this hotel is of good proximity too.
Rooms were clean and a little quirky in a lovely building with nice grounds and local village.
Breakfast had a good selection and was laid out well.”
“We were the only people staying at the time and the owner and his wife went to great lengths to make us welcome. They even offered to cook us an evening meal if we couldn’t find any restaurants that were open.”

“The position of this hotel is wonderful. The views from the restaurant over the 2 rivers is exceptional. We were there when the rain was pouring and the rivers were filling rapidly, so it was amazing to watch out of the windows. The staff were friendly and the service was good. There are a lot of steps to the rooms, although we had a room where the lift took you to the first floor and then there were just 2 steps, but we were told that all other rooms had a lot of stairs.”
