“Fantastic location. I’d a Sea View Room, and the view was amazing. The landlady Jill and her husband John went out of their way to make me fell welcome. I’d to go to work very early every morning and Jill left a breakfast out for me for each day which was very kind. It’s a very short walk down the hill to the bars and restaurants so very well located. I’ll definitely stay again.”

The owners John and Rebecca are great hosts, very friendly and welcoming, this was my second stay there and I will certainly be using the De L'Etang again.”
“Breakfast was the usual minimum cooked B+B: orange juice, 5 of the usual cold cereal choices, one egg (choice of prep type),one sausage, one bacon, beans. Minimal tea tray in room, but pleased to find whole milk packets, rather than semi-skimmed. Room well outfitted for maximum use of space. House in basically very good condition for old property. Good signage with rules, instructions. Working WiFi. It was absolutely immaculately clean. Luggage storage and, as room was ready, I was allowed in long before the 4pm check in time.”
