“Very nice, clean rooms. The swimming pool is always available, and the breakfast is great. The hosts are very friendly and always greet you with a smile.”
“The accommodation was cosy, very clean and it had everything we needed. The apartments have recently been renovated, nothing is worn or broken. The view from the balcony is amazing and we enjoyed spending time there and watch the sunset.
The main beach is sandy and large and the water is shallow and warm. There are other tiny beaches nearby, basically without people. One of them, small and away from the others, is for nudists.
We highly recommend renting a car. You can explore the whole island (the inland villages are definitely worth it).
Antigoni is perfect host, very friendly and helpfull. As a welcome we discovered a bottle of wine and water in the fridge, that was nice.

“I have been to Roda many times over past 10yrs. So clearly I love it... Beautiful and compact. I've tried the main hotels and now I'm trying 2 bed appartments so we can be together as a family.
Ria is truly an outstanding person to deal with. She met us from the taxi and made us really welcome. She stayed in touch throughout and helped us work out any issues. Christina the house maid was also exceptional.
We moved to a more spacious appartment half way through and Ria managed that flawlessly.
The appt is located in a lovely spot behind a church. Everything within easy walking distance. There is a lovely garden with barbecue area (we didnt use it but others did) and tables and chairs.

“Everything was perfect and easy. The place was great, felt safe, well kept and had everything you could need for a pleasant stay. Argiris was more than helpful. The location is fantastic, on the right side of the island with the most wonderful beach, Antisamos only a 15 minute drive away. The nearby town of Sami (5 minute drive) has all you may want as well. I would gladly stay here again if ever back in Kefalonia.”
“Hostess lives there and is really helpful with everything. Clean sheets, towels, and floor every other day. Nice street with lots of restaurants and shops. Close to the beach. Can park car there. Would come again. Beds are comfortable. There is also little kitchen with refrigerator, perfect for some snacks.”

“The photos on the website don't do this place justice at all. The view was fantastic and it was much bigger than expected. Plenty of space for the 3 of us and handy to have 2 toilets. The host, Vivi, was personable and approachable. She waited for us when our flight was delayed with a welcome gift of lemonade and strawberries which was a lovely surprise. The fridge was pre-stocked for us with water which lasted our whole stay, which was a thoughtful touch. She also let us check out later on our final day as we had an evening flight which was really kind of her and much appreciated in 40 degree heat! The apartment had 2 generously sized bedrooms with their own air conditioning. It was walking distance into Nidri town so no problem to walk down for food or to go to the port. There was also a parking space which was very handy for the days we had a car. A great base for exploring the island, chilling on the balcony with a great sea view in the evening and getting a good night's sleep after it all!”
