“Hotel L'Ecrin d'O completely bowled us over. The house itself, build around 1900, has a most interesting architecture, quirky outside features, like a bridge across to the entrance door, a fairly large Koi pond below, balconies surrounding the house, wooden gladding.
The host was extremely welcoming and helpful with all aspect of our stay in Spa, including directing us to the best tasting Spa water source, friendly and multi-lingual.
The interior of the hotel is beautifully and tastefully furnished and decorated, starting at the reception to lounge and breakfast room (serving a lovely breakfast). Our bedroom was magnificent, large, tastefully furnished, with a wonderful balcony to sit on and rest. Mattress and pillow must have been of excellent quality.
There is plenty of parking in the courtyard at the back of the hotel, or on the road. It all felt very safe.
In every aspect, the hotel was more than we expected.
I do hope that we get another chance to visit!”
