“The hosts were really friendly, very helpful with the local area, and their breakfast every morning was excellent. We loved the location, stunning views and a lovely quiet area. Annecy centre which is beautiful was 30 minutes by bus which stopped right outside the hotel or 14 minutes by car. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable and we would stay again in a heartbeat. It’s worth a short drive up the mountain to La Forclaz to see the paragliding take off point. The views are amazing from there and there is a nice restaurant called Le Balcon Du Lac there with amazing views. Very local to the accommodation is the Cascade D’Angon waterfalls which were really enjoyable and there is a river gorge near Annecy called Gorges Du Fier which was definitely worth a visit. Chamonix was just over an hours drive, with cable car ride up Mont Blanc. Plenty to do and see around the area if you’ve hired a car. It was nice to be in a quiet area away from Annecy which was busy and had limited parking.
