The lady would clean it every day, changing towels, sheets and emptying the bin. Mattress was comfy and I had a soft pillow and a hard one.
Location was great for me because it’s at the end of the Main Street and since I rent an atv and the center is a pedestrian zone, it was closer to the parkings. It’s 5 minutes walk from the old port, supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. Since it’s on a cross street, it was pretty quiet except for the barking dog or the birds.
The building doesn’t have a common area, just rooms.
Since I was traveling solo I asked for a map or some local advice (tours or restaurants) but unfortunately the owner couldn’t help.
The hotel provides shampoo and soap and let me tell you that the shower worked pretty well compared to many other places in Greece!!”
“It’s in a great location, right next to the harbour. the staff were very helpful, they waited for us to arrive off the last ferry and stored our bags all day on the final day for us. The apartment was roomy, clean with good a/c (needed during a heatwave) and quiet at night. Highly recommended for a short stay in beautiful Hydra.”
