  • Hotel Capital de Galicia Review score: 7

“It was clean and what was expected. The area was quiet and calm (after the Swimmingpool next door closed)”

  • 1930 Boutique Hotel Review score: 10

“This is a fantastic little gem of a hotel on the Camino. Even the beautiful exterior didn’t prepare us for what we’d find inside. It’s a little oasis which you don’t need to leave as it has everything you need. We arrived hot and sweaty after a 23km walk to find a lovely garden and swimming pool to cool down in. The reception and rooms have been beautifully decorated and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant which were served at a more reasonable time of 5-8pm especially when you have to get up for an early start the next day”

  • Hotel San Marcus Review score: 9

“Good location overlooking the square and monastery. The staff were very friendly and the rooms clean. Self service continental breakfast”

  • Parador de Vilalba Review score: 9

“This is probably one of the best value paradors I’ve stayed in. Large, comfortable, quiet rooms and an extensive buffet breakfast make for a little bit of luxury on the Camino”

  • Hotel Montero Review score: 9

“The staff here are extremely friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and looked like they had been recently refurbished. There was a small lounge to sit in and a bar and dining room. Very close to the bus station and the Camino and about a 5-10 min walk into town”
