“Our second time at Golden Bay. We love the apartment - we again stayed in the apartment with the big picture window and balcony overlooking the bay. It’s set in a quiet location with a lovely stroll through the olive and lemon trees to the beach - about 10 minutes walk. Great great staff. We look very everything about Golden Bay!”
“Maria was a very attentive host. She messaged me before our holiday, letting me know the location of a couple of car parks, and she was always extremely quick to reply when I messaged. Maria also had WhatsApp, which was great as I messaged her to let her know we were on our way. She met us there at 11.30 pm and showed us around the apartment.
There was a gift of red wine, a homemade alcoholic drink, olive oil, and there was water in the fridge. She also sent me links to a few favoured restaurants, coffee places, and the nearest beach.
I even received a message from Maria when the temperature topped 39° asking if we were ok in the heat and to stay safe.
Nothing could have improved our stay. The location was spot on in the centre of the town and only two streets away from the yachts, and the apartment was modern and had everything you needed. We'll definitely be returning to this city and apartment.
Every bar/restaurant you went into just for a drink came out with food, either a bowl of crisps, some nuts, ham and cheese on bread, even orzo with cooked meat (we think it was goat and pork) . All of it was given to us with the drinks without asking. It was a gesture. You didn't have to pay for it 😊”

Maria, the grandmother, was really generous to us, offering homemade specialties and kind chats every day, simply lovely.
