“We had a room in the new guest house, which was spacious, modern and quiet with floor-to-ceiling windows on one side and tasteful design everywhere. The bathroom was also spacious. Breakfast was a delicious continental buffet with great local products like the honeycombs and marmalade. The herbs in the scrambled eggs were from the monastery‘s own garden. Coffee machine was a little non-reactive and outdated but the beans used were delicious. We also liked that tables were pre-assigned.
Before our arrival, the staff kindly called us to confirm our arrival time. All in all, wonderful stay and would come back to Kloster Steinfeld!”
