“Location was ideal, and given that there are not too many places to dine or drink in Lockerbie of an evening it was handy that both were available not too far from my bed. The quality of the food, at both dinner and breakfast, was excellent and the portions were not small. The beers on tap were a good selection, including Green King’s Ice Breaker IPA and the wines were pretty much all available by the glass at very reasonable prices. My single bed room was very comfortable, and I was shown Room 1, the upgraded suite, which is the standard to which they will be upgrading all the rooms and it was really special.”
