“We stayed for 4 nights, using Parthenay as a centre to explore some of the surrounding places. The accommodation was fabulous, with us being made very welcome by the owners. The grounds of the house, in the centre of the old town, were open to us to use, with the owners even providing wine for us to sip in the lovely garden. Bedroom was lovely, well equipped with everything you could wish for, with even a separate kitchen and lounge for the exclusive use of guests. I can't praise the owners enough. Staying there was a real joy and I can't recommend it too highly. Try it!
There's even parking for cars, which in the middle of an old town, is incredibly hard to provide.”
“Beautiful accommodation in a quiet location. Guillaume and Corinne were charming and helpful even though we arrived earlier than expected. Breakfast included raspberries just picked by Corinne from the garden.”
“We booked here to visit friends who live in Parthenay.The hosts Michell & Thierry could not have done any more for us. Thierry even provided our own personal taxi service to go to restaurants & to meet our friends. He even picked us up when we were ready to come back "home". The breakfast provided every day by Michell & Thierry were exceptional with home made yoghurts and compote of rhubarb strawberry, & banana fresh bread and croissants lovely cold meats and cheeses coffee orange juice everything you could want was there! 😋
The garden and pool were loveley, sadly the weather prevented us using the pool apart from one day.
I can honestly say that our stay was made perfect by the fantastic service and friendliness of our hosts.
We had a brilliant time and could easily have stayed longer! Thank you so much Michell & Thierry. We wish you all the very best of luck and success in the future.

“After a long day bike packing in continuous rain I arrived in Parthenay and found this gem, warm, dry, beautiful old building tastefully done. Fantastic staff who even washed and dried my cycling gear. Would highly recommend for anyone wishing to explore the area.”
