“La Casa Verde is a renovated house with beautifully considered interiors and equipped with everything you need. Clean, tidy, comfortable beds, efficient air con - everything was perfect. Nontas was an excellent host who supported us before our arrival and throughout our stay. Nontas made the stay extra special, offering advice when requested and even booking an early morning taxi to the airport.
The house is up on a hillside and this gives the spacious roof terrace the most amazing views of the town and the surrounding islands. It’s easily reached on foot either by using the town stairs (which are one of the unique features of Ermoupoli) or walking via the outside roads – it takes no more than a comfortable 10-15 minutes’ walk to the harbour front.
We really enjoyed our stay at La Casa Verde and loved everything Syros had to offer. We hope to return!”

“The warm welcome of the hosts. The place was immaculate, very comfortable, beautifully decorated. The communication with their friendly daughter was excellent. She gave us so many recommendations. We stayed one week. The 15 min walk down to the port was very picturesque through the old town. It was a pleasure looking at all the pretty boutiques. The owner gave us a nice liquer and the grand-mother's delicious sweet grapes on our arrival. He came back with a nice bottle of wine later on in the week, and when we left, we were given a beautiful Cycladic figurine as a present. The place is well located for supermarkets, bakeries etc...If you are not driving, there is a bus stop close by that takes you to all the most beautiful beaches. Make sure you visit Filoti, Halki and Apiranthas villages in the mountains. We fell in love with the island and it's super friendly people. You must stay at leasr one week. There is so much to do and see!”
