“This unique accommodation in the beautiful village of Mandrakia exceeded my family and I's expectations. The location was the perfect base point for exploring the island of Milos, and we loved returning to it in the evenings after our days exploring. We had our own car (which I'd recommend to anyone visiting) and travelling between the different villages and beaches was straightforward and didn't take much time at all.
The house is super charming - with its stone interior and modern furnishings we felt immediately at home. Everything was clean and well maintained. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the owner, Magda, who explained everything about the house to us. We found the fridge stocked full of items for us to make breakfast during the following days (fruit, eggs, cheese, greek yoghurt, toast, jams, milk, etc). This was such a thoughtful gesture and was deeply appreciated by all of us. Every detail and consideration in regards to our stay was planned perfectly.
There is a spacious terrace with a bench and chairs outside. You can watch the sunset over the village in the evening (breathtaking).
Finally, the house is 100 m distance from one of the best restaurants on the island - MEDUSA. Definitely a must try while staying here.
I highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to experience life in an authentic fishing village in Milos in full comfort and fashion. I'd be delighted to stay here again in the future.
