“Sam the manager was EXTREMELY HELPFUL, gave me a lot of good tips to visit the main tourist point in a record time. SANTORINI is highly tourist, I don't suggest stay in the island for more than 2 days unless you like crowd areas during your vacation time.”
“The customer service in Greece is general some of the best I've experienced in all of Europe. I find that Europeans are generally better than Americans when it comes to customer service in hotels and restaurants, but Greece is definitely the best I've seen so far.
The shocking part of our trip was arriving to the hotel very high up the cliff and trying to figure out how we were going to get a bunch of very heavy luggage bags down more than 100 stairs to the hotel location. The hotel promptly sent up some guys they have on staff and they insisted on carrying all of our luggage down. These were small but strong wiry guys who were each carrying a bag on one shoulder and carrying another in their free hand ... heavy bags.
We had a double room and it was small but very comfortable.”
“Location was amazing. Few minutes walk to centre and bus / taxi station as well as cable car station. Host was friendly and amazing. Hot tub was insanely good especially when it gets chilly in the evenings. The view of the caldera from the room balcony is to die for. Just park yourself here and enjoy the majestic sunsets. They have a guy to carry your bag to hotel as taxis cannot drive in. The chap was like Hercules as my bag was like 28 kgs. Tipped him and he was pleasantly shocked. Guess most don’t :( Host ie the manager in charge is such a friendly guy and super helpful. I would for sure stay here when I go to Santorini again.”
“I was lucky to stay at 2 different hotels, Elia resort being the first, everything from the moment we arrived the staff were exceptional, Maria and the girls at the reception were so welcoming, housekeeping were so efficient and and cleaned very well, the staff at the dinning were always eager to serve us more food. The location right at the beach front is the cherry on top, having breakfast looking out at the sea takes your breath away. Overall we preferred Elia resort of the 2 hotels we stayed. The elegance of the rooms, staff service, the beautiful pool and beachfront location 10/10.”
“Excellent value for money, wonderful helpful staff, nice breakfast, great sunrise views from the East-facing front balconies, perfect location for short walk to lots of lovely restaurants and the perfect views in Firostefani, 10 minute walk to Fira town centre, wonderful pool area with bar service (food & drinks), fresh towels always ready on extremely comfy pool loungers and there is a shower area, very clean modern freshly painted rooms, rooms cleaned very well & new towels provided daily, very comfy mattresses and bedding, good shower power & small bottles of shampoo, conditioner & shower gel replenished on a daily basis, aircon, TV, fridge & hairdryer in room”
