“BEWARE: Not as nice as it looks. The views from the hotel were lovely. However the photos are very cleverly taken, and do not warn you how difficult it is to access the hotel and the beach.
"There is NOTHING on the website that asks people with mobility issues to contact the hotel in advance."”
“My stay in the Morfeas hotel was beyond amazing! Amalia is such a wonderful, kind and genuine host. The day I arrived, she checked me in and when she realised it's my first time in Crete she brought a map and started marking down where I should go (beaches) and which places to eat in for breakfast and dinner and even recommending cocktail bars to go to in the evening.
And what was even more refreshing every morning while you are leaving the hotel you would see her father Odysseus in the reception smiling and waving at you and just makes your morning everyday.
It didn't feel like a hotel but felt more like staying in a family home.
And location wise, you can't be in the heart of the centre more than this, you are literally in the heart of everything that is going on in Chania and also 5 minutes walk to the bus station if you prefer not to rent a car and use the buses.
And the wifi connection was actually super great and strong!
Amalia and her father are the loveliest people you will meet in Crete. Thank you for being such a great host.”
“Our room was in the first floor, with a side sea view, with a large balcony.
The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. A good breakfast selection. Staff always pleasant and helpful.
Good location for the beach, and restaurants.
Ten minute walk to the bus station, to access other parts if the island.
Approx 15 min coastal walk to the harbour, and the beautiful old town of Chania.
We stayed 3 nights before moving onto visit the rest of the island.
We would have no hesitation in staying again.”
“We stayed for two nights, in a budget double room with a side sea view. The room is small and really only suitable for a short stay with a small amount of luggage. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
This was our third stay at the hotel, the first since its name change.
Breakfast is standard fare of yoghurt fruit, bread, meat, cheese eggs, juice and coffee, all taken by the sea.
We love the location of the hotel, its well located for a short walk to the harbour, and the area is vibrant in the evening with restaurants close by and popular with local people.
I am sure we will return.”
“Breakfast and all the staff was wonderful. Everyone was nice and fun, they really made our stay. Having breakfast overlooking the pool and sea every morning was amazing. The pool area is so quite and relaxing, the bar had really good cocktails, we also had a light lunch the last day, it was absolutely reasonably priced and delicious. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back in a heartbeat!”
“The infinity pool was magnificent, and the restaurants and the breakfast were excellent. Amiable staff, wonderful view from everywhere. Very clean with a nice calm aroma.”
