“I have stayed 4 nights in room no5. The communication with the owner of the guest house Miguel is very good and he welcomed me at the entrance. Miguel gave me a good information about the building, it is a very old building but inside is decorated newly. The rooms are on the second floor. My room was very cozy and quiet. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. There is no TV and AC but no needed. The WiFi works very well and fast. Even though the weather was hot, the fan quickly cooled the room. The bathroom is right accross the room, very modern and very clean. Since you have the key to the bathroom, it is only for you. Yes it would be better if it was in the room but it is not a big problem. There is soap in the bathroom, it would be better to bring your own shampoo with you. There is also no hair dryer. The location is perfect, 3 minutes walk to the port of setubal where you can easily travel to Troia by catamaran. 5 minutes walk to the main square and 1 minute to the famous choco frito restaurant. Thanks to Miguel for the moscatel wine and cookies. And finally, room no: 4 has a big refrigerator and other kitchen equipment that the guest can use.”
“Close to everything, eateries and beach.
Very very clean and comfortable.
Little balcony to watch the world go by.
Great continental breakfast, cereal, cheese ham fruit cake bread.
Coffee available all day.
Sophia is lovely and looks after this place and is a credit.
Thank you for a great stay.”
“We had a balcony with a view to the ocean. The room was small but cozy and comfortable. The owner was very nice and welcoming. There weren't too many people on the beach (mid September) and we had a great time!”
“In a quiet location, walking distance to main square but Setúbal is also a small town, room was clean and kitchen always being cleaned every day and very well equipped
AC also well functional so perfect on humid days”
“The apartment is bright, spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is just a short walk from the ferry terminal in a street with shops and every kind of restaurant and bar to choose from. It is lovely to sit out on the balcony.”
“Brilliant accommodation, very secure, really clean and well maintained. Easy to find. Good food nearby. Lovely cafe nearby to the ferry terminal. Pedro (the manager) was very friendly.
30-40min walk to some amazing beaches. Ferry wasn’t going from Trafaria over the river when we were there but there was a free bus to take you to the next terminal then across. The ferry is very cheap it was €2.70 return- it takes you into Belém - which is about 1.5hrs out of the city centre but Belém has lots to see as well.”
“Beautiful and stunning cosy place with an amazing relaxing home atmosphere. There are everything you need for a comfortable staying: cosy spacious rooms, swimming pool, park with ponds and swing and common area with pool table, fitness room and lounge zones. Luc as an owner of the hotel, was super helpful, hospital and paid attention to all his guests. Breakfast is exceptional as was previously mentioned. We love the place and want to come back in a summer time to enjoy unbelievable beaches and local attractions.”
